Like it’s so wild to me that I went from listening to just dance feeling like a lonely gay artsy loser and now I’m a happily married man about to hopefully adopt kids soon in a job I love like I really GREW UP with this woman as the soundtrack to my life

She's going for a dark, gothic era. There were elements of the in TFM and BTW, but I feel like it's much more present now. 

Disease visuals - Dark, gothic
The title - "Mayhem" means chaotic, which is a word ("chaos" more specifically) that she's used a lot when describing the album
The sound of disease - Again, it's a dark electronic/industrial/dance pop song
CBT premiere outfits - The black hair + white car outfit specifically references the Disease MV
Image from the her website - She's wearing black, in black hair, the picture's in greyscale, there's a broken mirror...it feels "dark," which is what she's going for

me neither  Disease visuals are amazing, over the top and avant garde I don't even know what happened with that artistic direction, but anywaysssss if the music is good who cares about the cover

We haven't even seen the rest of the photoshoot and some of you are 'what happened to the art direction' 

It shows some haven't live the BTW, CTC or Joanne album covers reveal

The cover has really grown on me

Like considering the album's name is mayhem, i imagine her having like a huge crash out to lets say abracadabra and then falling on the mirror or wtv

To be fair we don’t really know anything yet. For all we know they’re fake. These could easily be promo photos or photos from the album’s shoot too, but we don’t know anything. I feel that way about every era. It takes me a minute to adjust to the new aesthetic, but they always (except one ) grow on me. I will say though, that image of her in the pink metallic panties in a crab-walk still makes me angry even though Chromatica is in her top 2 albums shoots for me.
