I think if it is delayed, we know it will drop before Coachella. She needs all the preorders she can get, so it might be a good thing.

based on what she said in the RS interview there’s definitely gonna be heavier produced songs like NB and Abracadabra but she essentially told us there’s Soul and Funk music on the album. It sounds like she’s paying homage to all her favourite singers so I imagine there’ll be songs that sound like metal bands she grew up listening to like Metallica and AC/DC, plus Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, maybe Chic and more. All through a slightly more pop lens.

i suspect we’ll get songs that have elements of industrial, dance, disco, house, metal, funk and soul. Basically if a 70s rock album was made into a modern Electropop album.

It’s possible she never concretely said Feb was the date really. Plus she’s competing with other Interscope artists that month like Abel and Kendrick. If it comes out in April I hope we at least get a second single to tie us over.

DWAS definitely has so much more life in it too maybe they wanna let that calm down first and push a solo hit song that only promotes her who knows.

Or maybe she really has a song with Abel and is on his album that’s due to be released soon.

Perhaps that’s why she’s been silent because she’s used her time to make stuff BTS (finish recording the album, make music videos, prepare promotional slots) so she can then just rest and rehearse this year for a tour and her concerts in Rio and Coachella (and hopefully a European festival too thrown in there).
