Coachella tickets went on sale on Friday, Jan. 19. And four days later, tickets for the festival’s first weekend are still up for grabs —  for the first time in a decade.

One plausible explanation for the slowdown is the festival’s 2024 lineup. The bill, featuring headliners Doja Cat, Tyler, the Creator, Lana Del Rey and No Doubt, has left some fans feeling underwhelmed.

The Firefly Festivals here in Delaware have been struggling with the same issue for years now. It's definitely a mixture of the lineup and costs. No one wants to spend money (pending they're able to) on a lineup that only has a handful of artists they'd be interested in seeing.

The lineup isn't very exciting and I think Coachella has been on the decline since it became more of influencer spot rather than the music

That's is sad, but good news for me, if that means I don't have to elbow people or get elbowed during No Doubt set :stupidoreo:  :icant:

The lineup is not giving Coachella, honestly. Like they had Gaga and Beyoncé as headliners before, and this year's headliners, even though they are all very talented and amazing for sure, are not even near to be as big as previous headliners who have achieved legend status, so... :messga:

And it’s been on a *marked decline since Beyoncé went there (like in the cultural consciousness, I mean). I mean everyone basically was like how do you do a better set? So I think for more casual people it’s like ehhhh do I need to go bc also to your point it’s more like a thing casual people take part in digitally than physically lmao plus it isn’t just Coachella. It’s EVERYTHING involved with Coachella like Uber surges, expensive lodging, all that
