this is very likely to be fake, in a live interview Neve Campbell said that she still wasn't called by Spyglass and it was yesterday. Also she's not a producer so unless they offered her a huge amount of money she doesn't have such a decisional power

Knowing they want her for Scream 7, yeah she has some power on decisions, especilly knowing they lost their two new lead actresses

We know thats she cares A LOT about the franchise, + they know that by now her and Courtney Cox are Theee OGs. So losing Melissa, and not having Neve on board is just too much of a waste. If she asked them to meet with her and they did, then we 100% know that once again she’ll be involved with the new movie. She knows that the movie would possibly flop if they didnt have her + Melissa again. Unless they use a brand new cast

Fair enough and I appreciate how much people are being optimistic about it despite the production struggles, but what I mean is: she is not working as a producer for Spyglass, so her being involved in talks and meetings with the cast would be possible only if they offered her a big salary (like she said in 2021) to return. And based off a very recent interview they didn't  (she clearly said she wouldn't be surprised if they offered her to return, but nothing happened yet) so the tweet reeks of fan speculation

They also had plans for a new reboot with a new cast (which I really don't want to happen tbh) so fingers crossed
