This sounds like legitimate fake news. A parole officer wouldn't order you to leave the state you were incarcerated in... That would mean they can no longer do their job since you are out of their jurisdiction.

Super short version is Gypsy Rose was a victim of Munchhausens by proxy (which is when a perpetrator forcibly keeps a subject ill and/or dependent on the perpetrator, just in case you didn’t know). No one knew this for a long time, as Gypsy and her mom were just considered by her neighbors and friends to be a duo of a very sick young girl and a loving mom. Gypsy was subjected to terrible unnecessary surgeries, medical procedures, and various at home treatments to essentially keep Gypsy very ill and stunted. Additionally, Gypsy’s mother had everyone believing Gypsy was a little girl, when in reality she was in her early 20s. Gypsy at some point got access to the internet and confided in an online friend (turned significant other at the time) about her terrifying situation. Together, they planned and carried out a way to kill Gypsy’s mom and fled. Gypsy was caught, the whole story unraveled, and Gypsy was imprisoned at the age of 25. 
I’m recounting this from memory, and there’s SO many details that I left out/forgot. It’s definitely worth a read if you have the nerve for it. If anyone else can chime in and correct me or add onto what I’ve said I would appreciate it too.

Daughter was abused and physically / mentally manipulated by her fame and attention obsessed mom (who also had her with an underaged 17 yo, while she was 24 or something). Anyway daughter met a man online and they planned to kill her mom, her man actaully did it, so hes still in jail while she just got 10 years for planning the murder.

To be as brief as I can be…..She was a victim of her mother who convinced her that she was terminally ill and somehow was able to get doctors to think she was sick also. This is a behavioral/ psychological disorder called “munchausen syndrome by proxy”.  So the doctors believed the mother somehow and they prescribed medications that were made for people who have cancer and it weakened her immune system, lost her hair, and made her look legit feel sick. She even convinced Gypsy that she couldn’t walk and she had to use wheelchairs. Her mom got tons of donations and free trips to all over the world because people felt bad for her “terminally ill child”. 

Then Gypsy figured it out got a boyfriend online and began venting to him about how horrible she was and Gypsy had her boyfriend murder her mother and she went to prison and just got released.
