FfFfFfFF 56,129
It seems that German(ic)/ Central European countries prefer more bare costumes, while the rest of Europe + Latin America prefer more colorful and artistically complex pieces - somehow I am not surprised
Schwerk 7,252
Pretty dark and depressing compared to all those colourful outfits I see here. It's has pretty much died out and isn't really worn for cermonies or holiday festivities either. I do love the intricate lace headress or 'knipmuts'. In my little town there's a specific knitted pattern, originally gloves, but these days also hats, scarves and sweaters. It's really tricky to knit so not many people don't know how. This is the east of the Netherlands by the way. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
