I couldn’t quote all of you but I don’t understand what do you expect her to do. Taylor Swift is the most famous person ever to walk on this earth and you expect her to travel with regular people. It would be too chaotic for her and I don’t think she can handle this after all the things she went through. She is a fighter, she is the strongest pop music character ever but even this is too much for her. I think we can all handle the carbon emission she’s causing because it’s all for her relationship and they are the most famous and adorable couple right now. I don’t understand, does she not deserve to have a happy relationship?

I agree its not practicle for high profile ppl to travel in regular airplanes but it really does speak to an issue in our system and society

 

- a system that makes any 1 individual that rich

- a system that allows any 1 person THAT much glory and fame

- and a society that cant learn to respect privacy and personal space (this one is on regular ppl)

 

The point is if humans were rational, we wouldnt be creating billionaires who then feel they must travel in private jets and create all this pollution single handedly

 

But I personally for the record am not angry at Taylor Swift as a person despite disliking her overall personality (in her shoes i might do the same when it came to travel). But i do blame a flawed and rotten system that pushes for this to happen

#1. Guess its a matter of opinion. I wouldnt droll over him but i wouldnt say hes ugly

 

#2 ugly ppl deserve love and relationships too. We dont need to be that superficial

 

#3 Taylor has more money than she knows what to do with already. While she may be cautious of an average joe going for her likely questioning motives, i doubt a lot of money would necessairily make her attracted to him (but i could be wrong about that)

As long as private jets (and planes in general in addition) are in the world, I don't know how much the effects of becoming more green can really improve things because they're so powerful, they cancel out the majority of efforts. So, I really don't get why the everyday civilian is being encouraged to recycle everything, switch to more ecological heating systems, drive electric cars, avoid driving at peak hours, etc. when the rich and famous are making much more non-green choices all day long in ways that equivalent to multiple people's bad habits. It's the macro we need to change, not the micro. Maybe think about the micro when we're done with the macro.

I get it when a celebrity's on a world tour but there's no reason for them to be travelling around on a private jet just because they want privacy or to feel flashy and fancy. We are hearing more and more about celebrities taking a jet ride for a journey that would have taken just 15 minutes by car, or flying to a different state just for dinner and then flying back home again or constantly going back and forth to see a spouse that they don't live with. Private jets should be for occasional circumstances, not a substitute for a car. They can definitely fly commercial for a regular, non-tour related flight. First class cabins exist for a reason, you're separated from everyone else and are in luxury. There is no need to fly private for regular flights but that's what lots of celebrities do without thinking twice about it. Plenty of regular people conduct long distance relationships over phone calls and video calling and fly commercial to see each other. Even if you have the money to fly private, there's just a line where it becomes excessive. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
