There are three groups potentially at risk:

"Anchor babies": that is children of illegal immigrants, who are usually considered U.S citizens. But Conservatives are pushing a different interpretation of the 14th amendment that I suspect could be upheld by this conservative SC.

"Naturalized immigrants": Naturalized immigrants can have their citizenship revoked if they are believed to have lied on their application. I'll give you one example, say for example someone was naturalized and then voices support for a terrorist group or a country that America considers as a terrorist-sponsor state, then they can use that information to rescind citizenship.

"Legal and Illegal Immigrants": Under a Trump-controlled USCIS, they should expect everything. Their applications can be denied for the most ridiculous reasons possible and they'll still have little to no recourse.

Who's 100% protected:
Children of American Citizens or legal residents. Nothing Trump can do to revoke their citizenship.

I'm 3000 miles away, but it's still deeply distressing to watch, and in ways it's laughable too. Here's America, the most powerful country in the world, the world's policeman, a country that can topple and install governments in other countries, but it hasn't got the wherewithal to send just one actual policeman to feel Trump's collar and say 'ENOUGH'.

2024 isn't looking pretty. Somebody is due to be sworn in as President in January 2025. I hope that a) that happens, b) the somebody isn't Trump and c) there isn't a lot of violence along the way.

You need to look up Nazi rhetoric in Germany during the early 30s and see how it escalated and manifested into its people and society. 
 

There is nothing “tbf” about this language and the threat it poses. Its entire intent was to provoke and incite. Wtf? People like Trump, and history, depend on comments such as this one.

Nah, Dems are redistricting in several states, especially New York. They'd have to f*ck up majorly to not take the house back in 2024, it's basically theirs to lose.

As for the senate, if the 2024 election is at least as close as the 2020 election (in either direction), Dems should keep the senate. Senate, house, and even state level candidates have been outperforming Biden in every election.

I was looking for this comment.

There was no “red wave” in 2022. 

There were no significant GOP wins in local elections last month. 

Democrats are outperforming Biden and the polls. 

My prediction is whoever wins, it will be incredibly close. But if Dems ramp up turnout the House and Senate give them a pretty good chance.

He’s right about illegal immigration. It does hurt the system. Every country, not just USA started with immigration. That’s how countries and civilizations are born. But at some point there has to be a control on it, so it doesn’t strain the system. 

His wording is crap and divisive on purpose. He is trying to appeal to, and   ignite excitement in  a certain crowd to get their vote. He could just give out data on immigration and the negative effects of illegal immigration, instead of using fear tactics and ignorant verbage.

I would like to just live somewhere that people aren’t deemed “illegal.” It’s so demeaning. Like someone is less than someone else because they didn’t enter the US through the proper paperwork. People are people.
