The whole re-recordng trend started just b/c of Taylor Swift and she only did it because she didn't own the rights of her older original songs. If she had owned the original rights, she would have never re-recorded them.

I love this! It’s a time in history that shouldn’t be changed.

ARTPOP for example- all of its missteps, would’ve, could’ve, should'ves tell a story and add to the mystique. 

Gaga isn’t the artist who seeks out perfection. She is perfectly okay with the imperfections. 

I also feel like Taylor is attempting to rewrite the history of her rereleases

I think i'd want Gaga to release an acoustic album of some of her old songs. Her fanbase knows how good of a singer she is but there's still a significant portion of the GP that don't understand this and associate her with her fashion looks and crazy shenanigans. I think an acoustic album would go down well and given that she writes all of her songs on a piano first this shouldn't be too difficult of a project for her.

i think the gp already knows she can sing and dont associate her with being weird anymore for quite a long time now specially after the sound of music tribute, superbowl, her jazz releases and most importantly a star is born

It wouldn't work.

Her voice changed. I don't think she can sing Paparazzi the way it was in the original version.

Taylor Swift's music though is much easier to sing. It's not vocally demanding.
