For those that don't get it, because it hasn't actually been explained yet...

Mariah refuses to celebrate birthdays and calls them "anniversaries." She refuses to acknowledge her age, and it's a running joke. So she's continuing that tradition and refusing to acknowledge the actual age of the song because it would date her.
