as a gen z iPhone & Spotify user I can confirm, I have never met anyone who used anything other than Spotify aside from some Apple Music because they had a discount. iPhones vs Android is more balanced than that but most do have iPhones.

I think it speaks to how we want everything to work together for ourselves but also within wider society and social situations. Specific brands like Apple and Spotify really did get us early and humans are creatures of habit, especially when it comes to data and info also being linked in already.

People that say android are clunky or whatever are living in 2010, it's literally the same as iPhone now but with more freedom and better specs, and are a lot of times even more expensive than iPhones, look at Samsung and Google pixel.

I have an Android since December 2019 and it still works good, also recently I bought 2 new Androids for personal and business uses, too cheap to buy, efficient, fast, safe, with good space and above all they last a long time unlike iPhones which they say are intentionally slowed down when a new design comes out.

I used to have an iPhone and switched to the Pixel. I'm very happy with it. I feel too restricted by iPhones.
