AI-Generated Édith Piaf biopic in the works from Warner Music

Édith Piaf will become the subject of a new animated biopic, using AI to generate her voice and image 60 years after her death, Warner Music Group announced.

AI technology trained on hundreds of Piaf’s voice clips and images will be used to regenerate her “distinct voice and image to be revived to further enhance the authenticity and emotional impact of her story.”

In 10 years it will be the new normal. 15 years ago people said the same thing about Smartphones, "omg i will not have one thats insane, to be accessible everywhere". Look where we are now

AI has been used in the past to restore destroyed footage and audio, which is amazing technology and how it should be used. I’m not sure that’s where this project is going tho…
