Premiering this Wednesday, November 1, Now And Then – The Last Beatles Song (Short Film) is a 12-minute short film telling the story of how “Now And Then” was finally finished, almost five decades after it was originally written. This poignant short film, directed by Oliver Murray, tells the story behind the last Beatles song, with exclusive footage and commentary from Paul, Ringo, George, Sean Ono Lennon and Peter Jackson.

“Now And Then” is the last Beatles song – written and sung by John Lennon, developed and worked on by Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, and now finally finished by Paul and Ringo over four decades later.

“Now And Then” will be released worldwide at 2pm GMT / 10am EDT / 7am PDT on Thursday 2nd November. The double A-side single pairs the last Beatles song with the first: the band’s 1962 debut UK single, “Love Me Do,” a truly fitting full-circle counterpart to “Now And Then.” Both songs are mixed in stereo and Dolby Atmos®, and the release features original cover art by renowned artist Ed Ruscha. The new music video for “Now And Then” will debut on Friday, 3rd November.

I don't know how to react. Hopefully the song will be good or at least interesting, but making a twitter account for a long ago dead person is cringy. (I have no problem with management running the official profiles of people who have died, if this is clearly indicated.)

King of the Fall

I am 99% certain that John Lennon would have hated a stunt like this being pulled. Basically using the Beatles name to market a fake song, hopefully it is at least interesting. Reminds me how Mick Jagger used Rolling Stones brand to market a new solo album with Hackney Diamonds (Keith was clearly totally checked out regarding the release)

Hey, I'm king of the world, you ought to hear my song, you come on measure me, I'm twenty inches long

it just feels wrong to be tweeting through a dead person's twitter/account under their exact name :oprah:

if in 100 years i was still alive and some marketing person was posting on Gaga's profiles i would be a bit disgusted
