Taylor Swift stopped by to announce musical guest Ice Spice on the premiere episode of Saturday Night Live. Travis Kelce also made a surprise cameo during the 49th season premiere episode of SNL during a sketch that poked fun at his very public romance with Taylor.

Even as an avid Swiftie, I completely agree with you and it gets so tiring.

I don't get why she still wants to generate so much media frenzy around her dating life. The only solid reason I can come up with is that she has 1989TV to sell in 12 days.

Even though we don't know the definitive reason her and Joe broke up,  I really miss the dynamic they had just keeping everything out of the public eye. I guess it would be hard to do that if you're dating a pretty notable football player though...

This. There is a big difference between Travis and Joe who always was opposed to the public eye. We should also be pointing fingers at the media and the right-wingers who are contributing to their relationship blowing up. It is not like she is tweeting/x’ing cryptic messages about Travis to get our attention.

This is clearly a staged pap shoot, and she's running around in the West Village. Additionally, Travis even joins the SNL sketch about him. They both add enough fuel to the media frenzy.

Umm I think she should be able to walk around with her date/bf, holding hands or not, not her fault she is being photographed. Also I don't think she should care, what's tiring is the public and media obsession over her dating life.

Also to say this is a marketing tactic is silly, I really don't think she needs to do this to sell her albums or tour tickets...

Right likeee how is walking around in public  “milking” their relationship lol I would ask rhetorically if they’re supposed to just hole up and stay at home but another comment in this thread suggests that that is indeed what they want from her

I mean I agree, but this is the epitome of a staged pap walk. Taylor is the queen of them though, and imo it’s all fun. Just celebrities being celebrities to the max, and i kinda live for it.

Not you all acting like TS is a pap victim or something when she's been in the industry for so long 

Celebs and paps actually kinda work together since they're almost unavoidable, that's why sometimes we get pictures of Gaga with these big glasses and bodyguards covering her (when trying to stay out of the public/media) AND other times we get pictures like the ones in the OP where they look almost red carpet ready  (when they set up before the pics)
