This always been the excuse by fans, but a lot of bonafide movies are being released and still scheduled for release since the strikes started, such as the Oscars bait movies, Blood On The Flower Moon starring Leonardo DiCaprio, or Poor Things starring Emma Stone. They have waivers after agreement to be able to promote it. But some other not even doing promotion. Gaga doesn't even have to promote that concert movie, it is a niche show directed at certain market, especially since it's likely going to end up in streaming platform. Her name is already enough brand for anyone who care enough to watch it, such as her large fandom. Even Taylor and Beyoncé concert movies doesn't do promotion at all. Another point that always been my question is, some movies and TV shows are delayed mainly because they are still in production or filming phase, and nobody allowed to continue the project until strike resolved. Meanwhile, TCB movie would have been filmed from a year ago and some editing works wouldn't take long, I do not see why she would not release it already cos it's likely already finished for release before strike happen. So what kind of benefit is the delay for? This is not some bonafide project to get awards or something, nor a movie trying to get a huge numbers of grossings. You don't need +1 year to edit a live show, like seriously. This CBT event should have been released far sooner before this strike happened in July 2023. Like late 2022 / early 2023 at the latest. Same old issue with Lady Gaga, everything linked to music stuff takes ages and ages to be released until something happens and makes everything delayed forever / cancelled. You guys were saying the same thing over and over for 2 years about the actual Chromatica ball never happening, and look how that turned out.. Yes, it probably should've been released much earlier obviously and possibly the strike had some influence over the streaming date which kinda sucks. TAIPEI 2,694 Posted October 16, 2023 Share Posted October 16, 2023 seriously, if beyoncé and taylor swift can released the tour film, why can't her (gaga's) team? the eras tour film even premiered during taylor's touring, and chromatica ball finished at least almost 13 months ago honestly their efficiency are really sucks, one of the worst of the world. everything about its film i just wanna move on but sometimes i think it would be great if gaga and her team are going to release tour film as aggressively as they launched haus labs then roll outs new products constantly. Things never seem straight forward with her projects, I do love Gaga but I never feel I should get hyped about stuff as this type of thing happens where stuff is cancelled or delayed. I wish we could get at least some info about what’s happening with TCB. I've been here long enough to not get hyped anymore. Nothing is ever delivered whether it's teased or not. Bloodpop giving us blue balls over and over was it for me. There will only be simple pop eras from here forward. Just albums and (maybe) a music video or two. The only content we will receive anymore is Haus Labs TikToks every other day...
