Mr Ricky 9,089
I'm actually disgusted by the people actually celebrating this. My israelian friends have NOT been celebrating the fact that Palestinian people are being pushed back/oppressed. They are against their government, but y'all acting here like the civilians are the problem. I AM NOT STANDING WITH PEOPLE WHO JOY OVER KILLS OF INNOCENT LIVES. I find it really disgusting. Fcking religion is also a fcking mess. The believe of thanking someone that doesn't exist just because they took over and murdered people. YOUR OWN KIND. Also the fact that Palestinian people are celebrating on Hamas, when they know they are pretty much in danger by such reckless attack. I don't condemn war by any side, it's just there's NOTHING TO CELEBRATE. THERE WILL BE LOSERS ON BOTH SIDES. I'm so pissed off right now, the people who have joy but also use everything in the name of religion to condemn what's happening right now. They didn't commit it, they didn't participate in it, and thus have absolutely no claim whatsoever to be punished for something they didn't commit. The Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini meeting with Adolf Hitler (28 November 1941). The Mufti also wrote a pamphlet for the 13th SS Handschar division, translated as Islam i Zidovstvo (Islam and Judaism) which closed with a quotation from Bukhari-Muslim by Abu Khurreira that states: "The Day of Judgement will come, when the Muslims will crush the Jews completely: And when every tree behind which a Jew hides will say: 'There is a Jew behind me, Kill him!".[216] Some accounts have alleged that the Handschar was responsible for killing 90% of Bosnian Jews. However, Handschar units were deployed only after most of the Jews in Croatia had been deported or exterminated by the Ustase regime. One report, however, of a Handschar patrol murdering some Jewish civilians in Zvornik in April 1944 after their real identity was revealed, is plausible.[217] On 1 March 1944, while speaking on Radio Berlin, al-Husseini said: 'Arabs, rise as one man and fight for your sacred rights. Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history, and religion. This saves your honor. God is with you.

Have you ever read about what the jewish people went through during the Ottoman empire? Do you know what zionism even means? Y'all protray zionist as "pure evil people" just like a specific group portrayed jewish people during the 30s If it was so bad then why did they keep migrating from Europe to Palestine in that era? If Palestinians were mean to them well I guess that could've stopped them from coming but the fact is they kept coming, and engaged very well with the community there. Yes, I do know Theodor Herzl thought Jews deserved a homeland in the land of Palestine. I don't know how y'all turn a blind eye over the fact that 700000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced so a modern colonial entity could be established. Idc if this was due to Zionisim or the manifesto of mother monster, it's just wrong, unarguably wrong to cause a catastrophe that Palestinians have been suffering from til this very moment. But i guess 'humanity' dont always apply when it's about Palestine.

Dennis 8,391
This is sad. The fact that she traveled from Germany to attend a peace festival near Gaza, and she ends up being murdered by the same people she was advocating for. Bambino 24,321
Y'all can track back whatever you want in history but what's done is done so let's focus on the present. Palestinians have been living under apartheid and occupation for decades and decades, and what a fool you must be to think that anyone would agree to live like that or comprise their dignity and freedom to please the conditions of their oppressor and occupiers. The scenes you say in Israel can easily be seen repeatedly in Gaza, why not shed a few tears for Palestinians just like you do for others? Palestinians have the right to defend themselves against occupation, blockage, racism, apartheid, ethnic cleansing, colonialism... etc!

From my lips to god’s ears. Let’s make some things clear: 1. Being against Israel’s program of genocide is not the same thing as being antisemitic. Criticism of Israel is not the same as being antisemitic. Being anti-zionism (zionism in the way that it is currently employed, not historically defined as there is a very sharp divide between it’s historical meaning and the meaning it carries today) is not anti-semitic. Any assertion otherwise is a bad faith argument that is purely meant to twist something into an easy gotcha attack with no intention to actually engage with the discussion. 2. Any argument made in defense of Palestine that IS rooted in anti-semitism—and it is easy to tell—is just as abhorrent as whatever system or belief said argument is criticizing. There is no room for humoring anti-semitism in this conversation and anyone pro-Palestine should agree with this. If they do not, question their motive. 3. One can be both pro-Palestine and anti-terrorism. Those two are not one and the same. Hamas is Hamas and Palestine is Palestine. Hamas just so happens to control Gaza, but the people of Palestine did not put them there or elect them to it. Any attempt to conflate the two is not based in reality but rather another agenda that is rooted in a completely different subject entirely. 4. Similarly, any one trying to conflate the average citizens of Israel with their government and military are similarly not basing this thought in reality. 5. This has nothing to do with LGBTQ+ rights and the introduction of that uncorrelated subject only serves to platform a prejudice of it’s own. It’s a diversion tactic, nothing less. 6. Supporting the citizens of Israel is a beautiful gesture. The blind support of Israel as nation—that is, their government and whatever their government plans to do in response to this—is the result of a thorough brainwashing of the west that preyed upon the west’s fears of terrorism after 9/11. 7. Israel’s propaganda machine isn’t asking you to support it’s people, it’s asking you to support it’s regime and it’s plan for genocide. The Israeli government and Israeli system does not actually care about Israeli citizens and especially doesn’t care if you support them. All those in charge want is your complete and total support for their machine so you never question their own acts of terrorism. 8. War is not a game of right and wrong. Both sides here have blood on their hands and things they must answer for. 9. The flip side of #7 however is that, in the end, Israel is the larger, nuclear, more powerful entity and they’re holding an entire group of people hostage. Both sides have done their wrong, but only one side has been the aggressor and that side is Israel. 10. This attack is abhorrent, wrong, and should be roundly condemned. It is not however an unprovoked one and any assertion that it is is a lie.

I don't see you talking condemnation when it's about Palestinian lives? There's always an excuse. 'Oh they started it,' 'They were there', 'they were told to leave and they didn't' Where do you come off telling people how to feel? I condemned attacks on innocent civilians several times on this website, and yes also from the Israeli side. Just say you prioritize Palestinian lives over Israelis so we can skip the part where you pretend you care about all human lives.

Instead, you can learn from what's happening and see what's currently called a state of emergency is almost a daily routine for Palestinians living in fear and trauma under occupation. At least Israelis have an airport, shelters and of course they can go back to the countries they came from when things like this happens but Palestinians on the other hand have nothing. It's time to look at the bigger picture.
