When you enter something you need to understand it's consequences.

Precisely, when you enter a land and occupy it, you need to understand that the occupied people will fight back in any way possible to repel the colonial state that's committing genocide against them. Glad you're finally understanding that!

Also are you sure that I am the brainwashed one when you twist history to your liking and justifying killing unarmed civilians, kidnapping them and mutilating their bodies?

Never said that fleeing from your home after a war is justified. But Israel is not the only one to blame for it.

The arab league started the war cause they believed they could discard the idea of a Jewish state. Why don't you blame them for the Nakba and for contributing to this?

Israel is not the sole creator of this mess and it's not a good vs bad as you try to porttay it. Both sides have done horrible stuff but your narrative of "we lived happily till the evil zionists came" is simply not true.

Also might be my own opinion but I think the 2 things are uncomparable but this is subjective.

Are you blaming the victim now? :toofunny:

No matter what you feel about either side of this conflict, this is absolutely heartbreaking.

Dragged? She's not detained by Israeli forces so she's not dragged or humiliated.

Anyway the lady you're speaking of turns out to have also participated in the establishment of kibbutz on stolen land from Palestinians.

This is a statement from her granddaughter.

“My grandmother established the kibbutz with her own hands, believed in Zionism, in this country that has abandoned her, a hostage,”

Are we surprised? Like I said several pages ago, the Arab league was desperate for Hitler’s allyship and Palestine’s then grand mufti even met him in person to secure that. Too bad the nazis dismissed them, deeming their race “inferior”.

Imagine how many people wouldn't have died if religion wasn't invented, all this over some stupid old books.

Can someone explain Egypt’s role in this conflict? I keep seeing the words “Israeli blockade” but doesn’t Gaza have a large border with Egypt? Is it closed? If so, why?

People like to conveniently forget that Gaza does indeed have a border with Egypt, which Egypt could open for humanitarian reasons to have palestinian women and children evacuated from the Gaza strip. But somehow we're supposed to only criticize Israel and not other arab countries for failing to help Palestinians.

I've thought that before. But humans will always find something to fight over.

That's not only their home tho? Jewish people are native to this land as well. So your logic has flaws.

And it's not only about it being the holy land. There are countless of evidance, from recent history and far, to prove that Jewish people are native to this land.

Jewish people are not natives of the land of Israel, they are just the first occupiers! They attacked the Canaanites and took over their land. The Canaanites still exist today and are a minority scared to speak up. If you really believe in religious, historical, and DNA rights, you should give it to them.

But to me, I believe all this is invalid information as we live in the modern world, where religious, historical, and DNA rights are invalid.

Egypt has always been attacked by Muslims and Arabs for not doing so. Infact, one of their presidents were killed because they made peace with Israel while leaving Palestinians in concentration camps. I remember a couple of years ago Egypt got alot of backlash for attacking Hamas on its borders. Its much easier for Israelis to travel to Egypt for a vacation than someone from Gaza leaving.
