To be fair, SOME parts of LGBTQ+ are going overboard with it. Treating genders as if they are a 50/50 choice you can change whenever is ridiculous..

EDIT: I did say SOME people but I should have nuanced myself more. I obviously didn't mean people transitioning from one sex to another, medical professionals all agree that gender affirming care is the way to go. I just mean the people that you see floating around online saying kids can choose wether they are a boy or a girl, and some people would raise children "genderneutral" with this in mind. He is talking about what is being taught in school after all.

Biologically you are born male or female, and even then you could also be born intersex.

gender identity is a totally different thing 

if you were born a man but want to do everything in your power to become a woman and live your life as a woman and vice versa I don’t see the problem with that.
