Rita Ora has was hit with criticism from some fans for her new partnership with international fast fashion brand Primark.

Primark teamed up with global superstar and style icon Rita Ora to launch a new multi-season fashion collaboration which will allow Primark customers to shop her famous style for less.  Over the last 2 years Rita and Primark have worked closely together and she has been involved at every stage of the process from design through to the making of the collection. Rita also spent time getting to know Primark behind the scenes and visited Primark's Sustainable Cotton Programme in India.

But Rita was quickly hit by backlash from a group of fans for working with a fast fashion brand after launching a sustainable activewear brand Human Beings.

Fans accused her of 'not caring' for venturing into fast fashion, while others shared their doubts that the millionaire and globally famous popstar still shops at the budget high street retailer.

Reacting to the partnership, one wrote: 'Fast fashion is destroying the planet, or don't you care.'

Another fumed: 'Rita Ora who prides herself with her own 'sustainable' line of sportswear making the world a better place just partnered with Primark. She really does not give a f**k.'

While a third shared their doubts as they wrote: 'Yeah right!! When was the last time she shopped at Primark!!!!'

I've never seen Primark labelled as fast fashion before, it's just...a clothes shop. I think of fast fashion more as online only companies who jump on every passing trend and literally are fast fashion as they can only be bought online and therefore the buying process is quicker. Any shop could be labelled as fast fashion if the definition is just "clothes store that sells current clothes." Plus, Primark have moved towards sustainability for quite some time now, it says so in the article. Primark is a godsend for people on a budget. To demonise people for wanting affordable clothes when they need them is just out of touch.

No Primark is fast fashion. They literally imitate popular styles and sell their clothes extremely cheap because of the cheap labor they get from countries that have no regulations. Primark is the epitome of Fast cheap fashion.
