Like honestly, why are some of y'all so upset about this? It's not like she's going to solely focus on Vegas forever. She can do stuff outside of Vegas, and she has. She also did the Chromatica Ball while still under contract in Vegas, so it's not like she can't tour outside of it. There is legitimately no reason why anyone should have a problem with this. It's clear that she's very happy performing in Vegas, her shows are constantly sold out, it's probably much healthier for her to do so, and her shows always get rave reviews. She could've done more Chromatica Ball shows in other cities while still maintaining the Vegas residency. I understand the frustration, and it's definitely a very valid criticism of the show, but what does Vegas have to do with it? She can/does do shows outside of Vegas. Think of all she's done in the 5 years she has been there....It doesn't "lock her down", and if anything it gives us consistent content even when she is working on other things behind the scenes. Vegas is NOT keeping her from touring the world. Her healthy and mental and physical well being is. And they forget that even if she did one minth in Paris, one London, etc she is still far away from HER HOME. She clearly wants to be close to home which is Malibu. Vegas is only a 40 min flight. She is in Vegas and keeps doing it bc SHE wants to! Not being forced and not trying to give a f u to international fans. Its giving her happiness and peace, she is happiest and healthiest she been in years and allows her to remain healthy, perform, and make new music. She is at peace. IndyMelissa 272 Posted September 8, 2023 Share Posted September 8, 2023 She could sing Nursery Rhymes in Vegas and I would absolutely go. I am fortunate as I am only a three-hour flight to Vegas. My husband is as big a fan as I am (we were both teary-eyed at the show last Sunday.) I feel for international monsters or those that the price for the show/traveling is prohibitive to see her. That being said, she looked and sounded INCREDIBLE. I was fortunate enough to be at Brian Newman's show where she appeared with Michael and boy did she look happy! She was relaxed, enjoying her time with Michael and her Goddaughter. Walking in and out of the venue, skipping hand in hand with Sistilia. I know, the Chromatica Ball comment was towards the people who are like “but she still tours!!!! don’t complain!!!!!” Spoiler I’m moving to San Diego in like ten days so Vegas is closer to me than ever but the point still stands So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted. I mean, in all fairness, as an American, it would take me as long to get to Vegas as it would take me to get to Ireland, so this doesn’t really make her any more accessible to me lmao. I understand your point, but America is also huge and Vegas isn’t necessarily either financially nor logistically accessible for a lot of Americans.
