RAMROD 105,581 Posted September 3, 2023 Share Posted September 3, 2023 Spanish actor Gabriel Guevara, the star of Prime Video’s hit teen film franchise My Fault, has been arrested at the Venice Film Festival. Guevara had an active international warrant out on him for an alleged sexual assault in France. Venice police confirmed the arrest, originally reported by Venice daily La Nuova. The court of appeals will rule on his case before the extradition proceeding can begin. No further details on the assault or the arrest have been provided at this time. Guevara was arrested by Italian state police in Venice on Saturday, Sept. 2, a day before he was set to recieve a best young actor honor given out by Filming Italy on Sunday, Sept. 3. On hearing of his arrest, Filming Italy cancelled the award, which they said was a “precautionary measure” pending the outcome of the case against him.
