Agreed. The only era I remember Gaga being transparent about behind the scenes was BTW (anyone remember GagaVision?) and the lead up to ARTPOP. And she's clearly very much into film now, which was sort of where she wanted to go anyway when she was younger.

And music will always be a part of her. Gaga she has said that throughout the years.

I think the only "issue" * with Gaga as an artist is that she really does pour her heart, pain, and trauma into her music. So she never revisits them. I think it's why we're never getting the Gaga equivalent of "Taylor's Version" because she just doesn't want to process that anymore.

Whereas for someone like Taylor, her music catalogue is like a diary that she can revisit.

Plus it seems Gaga is much more "one and done" with her music nowadays. Dawn of Chromatica for example was entirely a BloodPop project. I wouldn't be surprised if Gaga couldn't even name the artists featured on the remixes.

*obviously it isn't actually a problem but strictly from a commercial perspective

Variety confirmed no songs were cut from the film. They included the surprise songs too

I have already forgotten about this and am no longer waiting nor expecting this anymore, it's a thing of the past and various fan material has served the purpose that CBF should have. By the time CBF will be released, Taylor will have released an Eras trilogy with deluxe versions and bonus content. Taylors mangers are clever, they knew if they didn't rapidly release it, fans would gonna switch to fan material and less likely buy the movie in future, so they arranged the best possible timing.

Remember when the Monsterball was filmed for HBO? 

That had a similar turn around for this. Released in a blockbuster way, filmed, edited and released within 3 months, oh and btw it had the new hit single (Born This Way) in it and released 2 weeks before the album for max promo effects.

Gaga had moments like these but we haven’t gotten close to that since forever

I trust that Chromatica was going to serve like this before covid, but if LG7 doesn’t eat promo wise like Chromatica would have, or like half of Midnights, I’m pounding the gavel

Taylor is gonna snatch Madonna’s heir to the Queen of Pop throne from Gaga atp…

and honestly I cant complain

Anyway I’ll still watch the CBF when it drops wherever but damn I’m jealous rn
