Fan that Adele defended from security isn't sorry for standing during the show

I can't think of a single show I've been to in recent years where people sit, especially on the floor. Gaga, Bey, The Weeknd, hell even Celine Dion. That woman needed a chill pill and security was way too aggressive.

I’ve been told to sit down at shows, which is annoying because I’m not bothering anyone. It’s part of a concert. However, he seemed a bit much with a selfie stick (?). Simply standing and dancing/singing along isn’t unusual but his theatrics are.

I feel for him. One time I was at a Marina concert and the people behind me decided they didn't want to stand despite everyone in front of us standing.. and yelled at me to sit down. I literally said are you f'ing serious? It's a concert? And I was made forced to sit. Terrible concert experience.. why even go if you can't dance..

I’m sorry to hear that you had that experience. At a MARINA concert out of all people. I bet that whoever forced you to sit down has an extremely miserable life.

I hope that you had better experiences at concerts.

i think it was the selfie stick that was bothering people the most but idk i wasnt there

also being at the end of the row, he shouldve just gotten his life in the aisle lol.. no one ever really cares if you party in the aisles unless there a lot of foot traffic

I'll NEVER understand sitting GA/ floor tickets outside of a theater setting.

I mean, in all fairness, this was a theater setting

No one will every FORCE me to sit at any concert. I sit when I WANT and I stand when I WANT. You have the freedom to do the same with the experience you paid for.

You can

If you are standing up and singing to the point that you are actually annoying groups of people, you are definitely in the wrong

In my experience, nobody minds people standig up or singing a long a few times, but if you are doing it the whole time, you are simply ruining the concert experience for others (in the seating section)

Well if people were standing up, singing along, and enjoying the concert, they wouldnt even notice him.

I went to Alicia Keys concert this month, and everyone in my section was sitting and doing nothing! I couldnt enjoy the show because if I sing or stand up, I know I was going to block and annoy people.

My bad. Even then, I would expect people to stand up at some point

No ive been to around 20 concerts, and usually most people are standing up in their seated tickets, and sit down from time to time during a slow song or if they get tired. Ive never been to a concert where everyone is sitting other than Alicia Keys.
