Elons younger sister Tosca claims sharing blood with her ultra wealthy brother has often cost her as people seem to assume that her brother is somehow paying her expenses when hes not

 

She cites an example such as when she booked a place for an event and it was quoted at $5000 a day, then when they found out who she was, it was skyrocketed to $25,000 a day

This reminds me of when the Kardashians were earlier in their career and only Kim was ultra wealth and Cloe got taken by realestate agent to see a $30,000 a month mansion condo in manhattan according to the budget and Cloe is like "I cant afford that, I meant $3000 a month budget"

 

Tho to be fair theres at least a 50% chance that was scripted and the agent made the error on purpose for the show

That's sucks and I understand so much why some family member would rather not known as siblings of someone famous for reasons like this and more.

Probably explains why in part not that many celeb siblings seem to try very hard to be known by using their rich/famous siblings name

Just did some rough math, and with his estimated net worth even if it cost $25,000 a day like they're quoting (which I'm not denying is a ludicrous price), he could still afford to put her up for 26,542 YEARS with his money. That's around 321 entire lifetimes of people who live to be 85, from birth to death at 85 years old

Or lets put it this way: $25,000 for a night's stay is is around 0.00001% of his money... or if you take the average US net worth of $746,820.. it would be 3.35% of that persons total worth

If you compare Elon's net worth to that of the average American, that night's stay is worth less than one cent to him. So staying in a place worth $25,000 a night for a whole week, would be to Elon like spending around 52 cents

If your sister asked you for 52 cents to stay in a hotel for a week would you say yes? Not that he should give in and pay them that stupid amount. But if it's family... and also at the normal rate of $5000 a night it would be around 5 cents to him

You're right! If Elon gave out nine million, seven hundred and sixty eight thousand handouts in the form of $25,000 he would be dirt broke! That's how he stays rich. By not giving a handout of $25,000 to over 9 million people ( or one person 9 million times)

she said he doesn't pay for everything, not that he doesn't help her. she's a millionaire.

Well she didnt exactly say if he ever helps her or helped her. All she said was hes not paying all her expenses like her personal piggy bank like some ppl seem to think. When asked if he ever helps her at all to some degree she didnt wanna answer cuz she said there would be negativity regardless of what her answer saying if she says yes it encourages more of the price gouging she experiences and if she says no it would make her brother look like an absolute ass

 

Tho knowing Musk i wouldnt be shocked if he didnt help at all knowing how stingy he was with his own partner Grimes

 

Also if i was rich, id wanna help my family and friends to some degree but i also wouldnt wanna be their piggy bank either. Not because i dont wanna spent the money (if i was THAT rich) but simply out of principal that our relationship shouldnt turn into a thing about my wealth. So i do get this to a degree
