If you look at the file in spek: https://twitter.com/ihearsinez/status/1694488273895207064?s=20 you see two distinct frequencies. A flatter, lower one and then a higher one. Which suggests somebody has just fiddled around with the instrumental/acapella in Audacity and exported it as one mp3. We have the instrumental for Applause in lossless, but we only have the acapella in a lower quality, and the two separate wavelengths, for me at least, confirm it's just a fake. The bridge is exactly as the first version that leaked but yeah, I could imagine someone played around with the acapella + instrumental to recreate that version with dry vocals? Bummer though Just listened to the file it and although you’re right about the spectrogram having two different frequencies the acapella sounds like the one from that Applause demo that leaked in August 2013 which is different from the album version one so it could be a real demo with weird mixing.
