Beyoncé’s mom hits back at rumours she cut Lizzo’s name from song

Tina Knowles has addressed reports her daughter, superstar singer Beyoncé, dropped Lizzo’s name from hit song Break My Soul following legal action against the Good As Hell singer.

Tina appeared to shut down rumours her world-famous daughter had intentionally left Lizzo’s name out.

Commenting on an Instagram post reporting on Beyoncé’s apparent omission, Tina wrote: ‘She also didn’t say her own sister’s name.’

Okay but she also didn't say Lizzo's name the next night so what are the odds she's never missed Lizzo's name before and then suddenly after this news comes out misses it two consecutive times? And that is not a drag at Bey, I think given the circumstances of everything it's probably a smarter idea to avoid it, but I'm not sure why Tina felt the need to directly comment on it when Bey wasn't taking heat for the decision? I feel most agree with the decision.

She has not played a following show yet.  The lawsuit was filled on August 1st, Beyonce skipped Lizzo on the show that day and her next show is on August 5th.

My mistake then, I saw some misinformation. I mean I do still think it was deliberate given how it was skipped, but I suppose we shall see on Saturday.
