While celebrities have affairs all the time, this seems to be like.....the worst possible scenario on a scale of 1-10. He had a literal newborn and she was liking IG posts of their relationship, and the wife seems to be (mostly) blaming her for the affair. And to be fair, while Ariana has some blame (she f*cked up big time) the wife should be blaming her husband for the most part (or at least 50/50).

He’s getting dragged left and right for this tho 

And ari is like 100x more famous than him, so there would obviously be more press about her than him

theyre not equally to blame - if a man is married to a woman and has a kid - he should be blamed more than his mistress as he should be faithful, ariana has zero loyalty to that girl

ariana was also married and had a moral obligation to not meddle in somebody else's relationship and people have pointed out this seems to be repeated behaviour from her

I see your POV, and you do have some valid points, but let’s not forget that it takes 2 to tango, especially when Ari already knew that he had a wife and a newborn. Ari isn’t stupid, she’s a smart woman, she knew what she was doing. But I do agree that he has more responsibility than she did for this whole mess. But I also stand by my point that she is a hell of a lot more famous than he is, so she will obviously be talked about in the media more than he is. I think we are both in the right.

ppl just need to cool it because they were bashing her for her body a few months ago, now this 

a person can only take so much - we are so vile on social media and it pushes people to the breaking point.

Omg poor choices were made. It does feel like both of them filed divorce after cheating but we can only assume that. But she broke up with her husband months ago. It just happened that we only got to know recently so maybe there was no cheating involved

The wife is actively making sure the attention is directed toward her though. Even I felt bad for her until the “Ariana’s really the story. She’s not a girls girl” quote.  She shouldn’t even be talking to the press at all. Now it’s quite obvious she’s taking full advantage of the attention, which could be naïveté or just her way of dealing with it but it’s doing no service to the future of their child’s life. I can’t believe she continues to make this more public.

She is probably doing that for the divorce 

 

As for ari... it's repeated behavior. I agree she shouldn't take 100% of the blame but gurl... How can you start most of your relationship by breaking another one, there are plenty of single guys

It’s not going to serve her in the divorce either though and it’s going to start making her look vindictive if she continues. For example, right after there are sources feeding rumors to the press she immediately gives statements. This makes it look like she or someone close to her was the source, and doesn’t do great things for her credibility when it comes to the cheating accusations. 
 

I also don’t think it’s going to get any easier for her once/if the rest of the Wicked cast says anything on the manner. They all seem pretty close and friendly so I suspect they have different views. All of this plus whatever Universals PR comes up with, I think she should have just let this play out.

Why are you bending over backwards to defend Ariana? shes a piece of **** and she has had the reputation of a cheating piece of **** long before this started. Both of them  deserve to get dragged through the mud but the main reason Ariana is the one getting the most backlash is because she is much more famous and people care a lot more about the actions of a big celebrity.
