The hype around the re-releases and the Eras tour is insane.

If Taylor wants, she could easily make her tour the highest grossing of all time and set a record so high that it might take a while to top. I think Forbes estimates Eras to make $1.4 BILLION dollars.

For comparison, the highest grossing tour of all time is Elton's last tour which made $900+ million dollars and spanned five years. Ed Sheeran's is technically more impressive because he made $700M+ in only 2 years.

This could be huge.

And we still have 3 more re-releases to keep the hype up. 2 of which I consider very culturally significant in the Swift fandom (1989 and reputation).

Edit: and if Taylor announces a new project at the end of tour (film, new album etc)...she'll be the industry

Honestly I’m predicting slightly higher than 1.4 billion lol over 100 shows and there’s still no box office released either. Not only that, but the ticket prices are no doubt significantly higher than U2’s 360 tour which grossed over 700mil. I think she’s gonna set an astronomical record. She’s probably still going to add more dates too

Edit: Pollstar was estimating 1.4 billion on 106 shows. She’s at 131 shows now

With album sales alone she would be in the Top10 with all of them.
