EW writes a tribute article to Gaga and Bennett’s friendship

This is a very sweet tribute article in Entertainment Weekly about Gaga and Ting Bennett. They really had a special relationship  

An excerpt: 

It's fitting, then, that for a man whose talent was there for Gaga during the most trying period of her artistic career, she was the one to lead him off stage for the last time.

"Tony, we're all so grateful to have witnessed your talent, your generosity, your creativity, your kindness, and your service through all the years," Gaga said, taking his arm. "Mr. Bennett, it would be my honor to escort you off the stage," she finished, and walked with Bennett out of view to a thunderous standing ovation from the crowd at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall.

The image is a powerful one, given Bennett's recent health struggles. It was a triumphant, celebratory end to a legendary story that could have been capped in sadness, but instead saw one of the industry greats bowing out with a contemporary mainstream pop staple at the top of her game.

Me too. I have been in the fog of deep grief the past 1.5 years. Its lonely and hard because no one gets it.I know the Haus will support her and LMa will too. Paws up for Tony today

It’s so sad but they clearly were so good for each other and supported each other so well. Both C2C and L4S are such good albums too, I’m going to be listening to them today.

I just hope someone of a younger generation has the kindness to treat Gaga this way when she is old and doing her last performances (in 250 years )

Wow No Lie, my world just weirdly sync’ed up with the qoute. I had put on the documentary earlier and literally as the show was ending i click this link and as im reading the qoute gaga syncs with my mind. I have goosebumps.

Wondering too why she hasn't made a statement yet. Unless she feels on the day of isn't appropriate but then everyone is talking about it so I don't think it would come across negatively

She’s probably just processing and grieving. She doesn’t have to think immediately of issuing a statement necessarily.
