I would assume then that he has masterfully manipulated her and may even be starting to show abusive traits. So yeah I assume it's probably denial driven. Combined with the fact that Doja is a very... spontaneous person with a temper often who acts before thinking. Love her, but she makes some pretty rash decisions and bold statements when she's fired up and defensive
