In fact its a really good idea! I can totally see her  doing something really 90's between Neneh Cherry, Massive Attack, Gorillaz, Portishead, Morcheeba and Unkle

She could keep her Rn'B vibes she got first and put some edge on it, like FKA twigs did but more mainstream, 100% british roots, poshy and catchy 

Edit: Or going full UK garage, bassline and acid house, like a natural continuation of disco with a lot of Uk in it and more recent
