Good for her respecting her boundaries!  These fans were way too persistent after she kindly told them not to linger outside her dressing room.

I’m surprised there’s no security, you’d think they would have someone there to actually say these things to them instead of it falling on her. But good for her for standing her ground, if she wants to go and meet fans she would, don’t go practically breaking into her dressing room and making her uncomfortable

Any fan would go backstage if they had the chance, thats why they should have security, and the artist shouldnt exist at the same time as fans

So I have a feeling they were able to get back there because of the way this show is set up. It’s supposed to be like a night club so parts of the audience are standing amongst the actors the whole show basically on the stage. They didn’t even know what door to leave from backstage, so I don’t think they came from that way. 
 

Broadway stage door etiquette is a big deal. There are always lots of people who go backstage after a show but they usually check with security outside who directs them where to check in. If you aren’t one of those people then you just wait outside behind barriers for the actors. I don’t know what Lea’s policy is now post Covid, but she came out and signed everything plus took pics the last show I saw her in. If she is still doing that they could have just waited.
