I listened again and it sounds like the drums aren’t hitting. They need to be louder

I also think her vocal is too far up front in the mix and it’s too dry. It isn’t mixed properly

Only good thing is that she’s now hopefully ready to release 1989 late summer/early fall. Fingers crossed !

"Streets saying reputation is next"

There's a hint in The Man's video that seems to convey that it's 1989 :)

If she's following this order clockwise it's rep, then debut and lastly 1989.

Tbh I doubt rep would be next with all the hinting it’s 1989, rep, then debut tbh which makes the most sense.

The mainstream peak of her career, the reinvention, then the start.

Karma is Midnights :bon:

Honestly, not really, but it is a strange coincidence. Maybe Karma (the song) was written back then?

Well who knows, so far this picture has been right. But I heard in the BTD TV lyric video there's a glitch with the word "End" that's why some think rep is next.

bejeweled video hinted that speak now would be next followed by 1989 and then the karma video further confirmed that speak now is followed by 1989 and then rep… with the latter being a possible double release

While SN has never been my favorite Taylor album, I’m excited to give this a real listen.

as far as what’s next, I heard that reputation has to be last due to certain legal ties that some of the producers of the album have with either Scooter or Big Machine or something, that will expire eventually (?) and it can’t be released before then. So I assume 1989 will be next? If my source is right? Can anyone validate this hearsay?

I’m surprised how much I like it compared to the original and this isn’t even one of my favorite albums from hers. Now thinking about getting the vinyl….

I think the storybook-style sequence in Karma kinda implies that we're getting 1989 (standing on a podium with '1989' written in roman numerals), then Reputation (hellish visual with dark outfits; Taylor liked a tweet about this scene being a Rep reference), then self-titled (innocent/naive Wizard of Oz-style visual; she was young and it was her debut)

furthermore, the Bejeweled video has her visiting a room representing 1989 directly after one representing Speak Now
