Spartacus Blood and Sand used to be one of my absolute favorite Tv series ever ( I also loved the prequel "Gods of the Arena" - I just didn't like the following seasons, because the main actor (Andy Whitfield) died and they replaced him to continue the series. To me it has never been the same so I didn't like it as much anymore...

 

But now a new spin off is coming and I'm really excited! I always loved the combo of sex, intrigues and violence/gore in the style of "300"

There's also a spanish actress that plays a part in it (Ivana Baquero) and it is said that Lucy Lawless (who played "Xena Warrior princess) will also have a small cameo again (her character died in the last season))

 

Fun fact: I used to be a HUGE fan of the show and I've even txted with some of the cast for quite a while while they weren't as famous yet - with 2 actors (Dan Feuerriegel and Manu Bennett (he follows me on instagram lol - he played the white Ork in the Hobbit movies) and one of the main writers/producers Steven S. DeKnight - He gave me advice on how to get started as a writer and even sent me a "merry xmas pic of him and his dog lol)

That’s crazy that after all these years they’re bringing Spartacus back. It’s such a good and underrated show, though. Not many people talk about it, but it had some really amazing moments throughout the seasons.

Ashur is such a good character as well.
