Don’t get me wrong, the fandom can be amazing at times in terms of community. Just look at the Chromatica ball last year, how dedicated some of us are with every detail in things Gaga does, how we literally collect every item! However it is one of the most negative a lot of the time too, like every little thing Gaga does is scrutinised and picked apart, she’s often treated like some machine that’s meant to do everything we ask to make us happy and if she promotes her company or anything else you best believe she’ll get backlash for it. Don’t get me wrong she’s far from perfect, but I can see why over the years she’s distanced herself from us.

She definitely has a larger fan base in terms of sheer numbers... And her most devoted fans are extremely devoted

 

As a percentage overall are they the most devoted tho? That's debatable... 

 

The thing about a larger fan base is you also have more casual fans mixed in with your devoted ones diluting your fan bases average in terms of how hardcore they are

 

Ultimately it does depend how they measure this and studies based on questionnaires are hardly perfect anyway. Even if Gaga on average does indeed have a more devoted fan base which I can believe, I do also believe in TOTAL impact rn Taylor Swift's fan base is still bigger and to deny that is delulu

Lana has more monthly listeners than both Gaga and Beyoncé now. The difference is Lana literally hates being famous, so actively keeps her profile super low.
