we forgot to make a thread about this last week!

but episode 3.

y’all didn’t notice?

f slur or r slur, we do have to remind ourselves this is a scripted show and a character that is meant to be the villain.

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”

Stay tuned for the next episode when he says the B word and the C word too.

I think we could have kept the discussion on that other thread instead of making another one to prove a point :teenidle:

Abel really went all out for a flop show

I hope the exit is joyful and i hope never to return.

We should condem every actor in 12 years a slave and roots for saying the N word

the whole thing reeks of a desperate attempt at being some edgy, controversial actor who'll achieve high enough acclaim that nobody will point it out and will celebrate it for years to come when in reality, the entire project is falling flat on its face...

mother, what must i do?

I love The Office. Michael Scott uses that word to describe the gay character. Michael Scott is an idiot and isn’t meant to be taken series. He is a characterization of what an ignoramus in the work place is supposed to be and how people react to him. I know ppl say that show wouldn’t be appropriate today but South Park has been doing the same thing for decades. It’s not meant to be derogatory, but if you resonate with the ignorant character then maybe you have a little soul searching to do.

I have grown to not let little words like this bother me. I would laugh it off and I am so good at throwing weights of shade if anyone dared call me that. If the real life Abel said this, that would be different. The show is okay and I wish it were a little bit better but either way I’m invested in it. Thing like this make you really hate the character and, story wise, that is a good thing. Evil characters have to be hated. It makes their demise so much more delicious.

Literally nothing is banned :anveeroy:

You got a thread idea, go for it :anveeroy:

Anyway, merged these threads. Lemme know if this title works for everyone :anveeroy:

@Controversiaga if you have a video of his character using the r-word, share and it can be added to the OP

You're stinky
