This type of weather is common this time of year in Colorado and we knew this big storm was coming for two days beforehand. Sad this happened, but it should have been cancelled. It smells like dog food, it's not THAT close to the mountains, and it literally rains ROCKS. My friend moved there a few years ago and had every single one of his car windows smashed by hail... The hail was the size of quarters and it came out of nowhere on a summery cloudy day. It hurts a lot, like constantly being pinched. Hope all these people recover.
