I am however relieved she explained her use of social media a bit. We all know she has been more private, which I respect and understand. It just made her Instagram in particular very commercial, which got very boring and uninspiring in my eyes, and one thing Gaga never was to me was uninspiring. I still wish she hadn't partnered commercially with a drug company, but I thank her for speaking her mind. Just wish she knew fans like me understand she works hard and we're not ungrateful, just disappointed for her partnership with big pharma. And don't be suprised if this wasn't the laat Nurtec post, she probably has her contact to fulfill. So excited to be able to look back at the Chromatica Ball in high quality. I am pretty sure her withdrawal from social media and the public in general is a means of psycho hygiene. Reaching such extreme levels of fame has never been beneficial to anybody’s mental health - look what it has done to numerous celebrities - and having gone through therapy myself, I am pretty sure one of the main things she has learned through therapy is to learn to focus on herself again if she wants to stay sane. I sincerely hope Gaga is doing well and doesn't come across the "fans" who are constantly whining and criticizing her for being silent. It's important to remember that she doesn't owe us anything. Let her pursue her passion and continue doing what she loves. To be honest, she truly deserves a long break if that's what she wants and needs. I used to read all the topics in the news thread every day and now I'm completely checked out unless she does something I'm interested in (new album, video, performance etc). I look up to her as an artist and social media is one of her ways to express herself and one of the only ways we get to see her. I like it when she shares her art. She is a writer and I am inspired by her creative mind, so when she shares her thoughts, that is interesting to me. I also find her very fashionable so her outfits and hair/makeup can be inspriring. Also, Instagram started as a visual platform of expression. It didn't use to be something like Facebook. I know that was a long time ago, but I wanted to mention that. I still follow people on Instagram that visually post interesting stuff. I don't need to see people's kids, food or dogs, but that's personal. I try to understand the craving for content that other people here have, I do think it's because they were used to other times, times she was frequently online, interacting. I do think with time, and seeing what Gaga think about social media these days, some people will see that too. I'm one of those, who doesn't care about what her posts, I see them, but my attention only goes for the ones I truly care about. I do know, that I'm not in category of the most dedicated fans, (her CDs are actually what I really own...if she was closer I would definitely go to see her live). I think what happened, was because how she runs her social media (something I really don't care about), because work wise, if you think about she is doing it frequently, what I think is that some people don't enjoy her recent projects and so they don't count. Not long ago she was working on Joker and before that on tour, creative people are always creating behind de scenes. We know the film is coming and of course music too ( what might happened is that the music isn't what some want, but that doesn't change the fact she worked on it). To me personally her post was such a surprise (a freaking good one), although I got a feeling that she was sending out a message with it.
