It's very possible. My husband has it in his contract that he can't say anything publicly about political things, have yard signs, etc. I mean I know he works in news, but I don't think it's that far of a stretch to think it could be in a movie contract.

I get your point and I respect it because you explained it in a kind way  I completely agree with you, it truly is lovely to see she is doing ok and that she's enjoying and having fun and creating art.

Sadly, most fans weren't asking to know about her, but strictly about what she was working on, and that's where I felt the line was crossed  I don't think artists should have to explain what they are working on if they are not ready to do so and want privacy to unfold their creativity. The thing with Gaga is that she is a popstar and as much as fans say they love art and everything, I don't think most of them understand the importance of privacy in the process of creating art.

I honestly don't think the information in that tweet was true. She didn't keep quiet at the Chromatica Ball and she was signed on to the Joker film then.

I know but the sequence of her posts recently on social media didn't help either.

it is not that she’s simply gone away from the internet but she only kept posting advertisements. And honestly, i can see why fans got frustrated about it. 

anyway, nothing better than communication and I love that she spoke about these things. I never doubted she was working hard (and never ever questioned if she needed a more private space or not - which of course she needs and deserves it!) but this was good to happen.

hope she is happy and living the best of her creativity! Looking forward to see all projects when the time comes 💘

True, but I'm used to Gagz dropping surprises. Or doing so many random things that eventually things will add up. 

But I understand others frustrations, it was just sad that it took the wrong direction.

Sorry but this is kinda gross given she just explicitly stated she prefers to be private, she doesn’t owe fans anything. The comments on her socials were attacking her for the shallowest things including her appearance

she probably wanted to wait until everything is ready to announce these things but still exciting

i still stand by my original feelings about the, uh, situation that happened this week, but i feel bad for gaga and am sending her a lot of love. i respect her a lot and i hope she didnt feel pressured into posting ALL of this and that she did it on her own. though i have a feeling she definitely felt pressured to an extent. i am happy she finally could communicate something with us. i think its something that has really created a lot of friction within the fanbase and our confusion and things towards gaga and the fighting eachother, etc etc. i give her a lot of credit and support for posting this, she doesn't owe anyone anything and idk. i just hope she's okay and glad that she's been doing what's best for her. even if it did create a lot of chaos on the outside. she is a human being and she has to take care of herself first and foremost so i'm happy to know that, that's what she has been doing and it's confirmed like in a very personal way. obviously i am BEYOND excited for chroma film like HOLY S**T?! and all the projects she has worked on. its exciting and i'm looking forward to all the work she's put in. just this whole week, it's put a lot into perspective. gaga i love you, and i hope that if there ever is someone on her team that sees this post that i'm sending the positivity and support. genuinely. i've been here since omg, your whole career quite literally almost your whole career as an artist. not during red and blue, but late 2007. i've been here and i will be here always supporting and that's just period. sending lots of love to whoever needs it in the gaga camp, on this forum, in general and i really, genuinely mean it.

I’m so grateful for her post, and also really hoping that the criticism from the other day didn’t hit her too hard.

But, I have a gross taste in my mouth with a lot of the fanbase rn with how sour some of y'all got and how QUICKLY some were to turn on her.. Hope this brought y'all out of the Veruca Salt era cause it really was not cute.

And she doesn't have to share anything super private like her love life or family - I totally get that she wants to have that for herself! Some behind the scenes sneek peaks would be nice though - just to show that she's still interested in us as her fans - enough to maintain that relationships with us. After all we love her music, we support her, buy the music, we buy the tickets to her show and if in between projects it's all silence when that wasn't always the case, it's hard to keep that "relationship" alive, because it feels like there is no connection and it's just onesided.

This is why I do understand a lot of the fans disappointment in general. I'm actually glad she cleared that up, because it shows that she does still care.

 

I was going to say something similar to what you said here but I didn't know how to word it, you described exactly how I felt 

I think we can all look at this as a learning curve for all of us not to get too sh*tty with her when she's silent, I can see how nice it must be to be out the spotlight for a change as she's only human and she deserves time away. But the same time I don't see there being any harm with interacting on social media every now and then, like even just to fill us in about how she is doing. I still think it was fine for those fans to have felt disappointed, because posting some of the CBT footage without confirming it was very confusing, especially with it being an Nurtec ad. 

It's good Gaga has cleared it up so we can just leave it behind us and move on
