Indeed it's the direction most folks here took after a day of being pissed off.

Focusing on the outlandish claims and avoiding to discuss Pfizer's history of settlements to the victims, bribing accusations, past with numerous donations to anti-LGBT politicians, fraudulent marketing case settled with the DOJ, lobbying against whistle blowers, huge participation in keeping the US healthcare system so unfair compared to the ones in most of other rich countries etc...

Noone left... people can remain a fan of someone and be disappointed in certain things they do. It may come off as soap boxy but as someone who has personally had to forgo taking my meds because of insurance issues, prior authorizations, and costs, it’s sad see Gaga taking a pay check over migraine pills. 

Thanks for that. I'm not in the US, so those details are educational for me. My take now is that this is a bad choice by Gaga. I look at her selling watches or champagne and I say to myself 'ok hun, I'm laughing with you', but this time I think the answer should have been no, not doing it. I get that she's a long-term suffererer from migraine, and it is laudable that she wants to do something to raise awareness, but I think this was a bad decision.

It will be glossed over because majority of the fans on here simply — and they’ve clearly shown this — have no capacity for having a serious conversation about ethics, morals, or the political climate and how it webs out into so many different aspects of life, but will post about the LGBT+ and BIPOC failing to see the connection to Pharma’s role in it all. And when presented with the public facts, or encouraged to look it up themselves its conveniently ignored 💀 🤡

They also don’t understand how you can love her, and deeply respect her, but still be uncomfortable with her decisions, and instead make jokes about the disease that is America’s healthcare system by calling those who are upset “little monstrosities” “temper tantrums” and other Trump-like phrases as a means to Invalidating other’s concerns or feelings. 
 

I know so many of you have seen the videos of the drug addicts in cities such as Philly, but you still don’t see any problem with someone as powerful and legendary as Gaga working with big Pharma? Grow up lol.
