Apparently the footage they used wasn't even from LA so my delusional self will continue believing we'll actually see TCB released somehow

May she never make another Nurtec ad though :bear:

I mean, no, this is because some fans had a disproportionate, insane reaction and some journalists monitor social media for trending topics.

I'm not talking about the normal fans who didn't care or who expressed some disappointment. LBR only fans are monitoring Gaga's social media closely enough to care about the footage or Tranter and those fans made it literally 'trend' due to their insanity. Tons of celebrities shill sh*t, and it's rarely written up.

When you think about it, its just gonna be nice to see the GP see more of her. Even if it is in an ad.

I hope after this Gaga + her team really rethinks everything about her whole brand and partnerships. It makes me sad that her advocacy is being erased from 15+ years all over an advert for medication. I think it’s best for my mental health to take a break from the whole fandom/community as I hate negativity and I let my mind be changed by reading other people’s opinions.

her advocacy isn't being erased at all, fans are just over reacting as usual

This is not really true tho, it been topic of discussion for a while about celebrities doing these types of advertising

Just from a quick search I saw these articles among others from like 5-10yrs ago which a lot of them mention about fans being critical/not liking it/and even mocking

Don't worry too much her legacy def isn't erased :kara: I really think it will not be a big thing after a little while (and hopefully when TCB film is released!)

Her legacy is not being erased. One pharmaceutical ad that people will forget by the weekend isn't going to change that. If anything, it's fans' response to this whole situation that has garnered it more attention than was warranted.
