Griffin 6
Do not post setlist, performance or set ideas here, there's already a thread for that. How much do you think the ARTPOP tour can gross? How long do you want it to go? Which continents do you want it to visit? What stadiums do you want her to perform at? Post any of your predictions here. I think it will go from around April to January (2014-15), and travel Asia, Oceania, Europe, Africa, Middle East, North America and South America. I predict it'll be around 110 dates - like the projected number of dates for the BTWBall were. I think it will benefit Gaga if she puts ALL tickets on sale in December (2013), that way it can experience the christmas boost. I would like to see her do three massive legs with multiple continents, instead of doing little by little. Australasia, Eurafrica / Middle East and Americas (northern, central, southern) would make good, large legs. Each would be about 2 - 3 1/2 months long. After mocking up some fake dates last night, I found that I had her performing in 40% arenas, 60% stadiums. I think this is a good ratio. In my seriously reaching mind, I hope it can gross at least 297 mil, so that it can hit the Top 10 of all time. What would you guys like to see? GagaSlayedYou 2
She should do the same that she did with the BTWB, but doing more publicity, here the only ad I saw was one little in the newspaper -.-

RAMROD 107,330
Stay away from South America, they are not ready for pop brilliance that is Gaga yet. Joking aside, think she will do tour that is less theatrics for AP. I mean BTW Ball are heavier than MB in this regard. Though not as heavy as, say, GWAR concerts that is super theatrical to the point audience can feel blood splattered on their faces when they slay the enemy. I think the show will be more fun but still ambitious abd unique.

Crash 11
Not to be rude, but what exactly is the use of pointless speculation like this? We barely know anything about the album, what the era will be like, how much success she'll have and you want to predict the tour for a nonexistent album. Doesn't make much sense. A lot of people here, myself included, are intrigued by the way a tour is planned, run and promoted. As the Born This Way Ball comes to an end, the ARTPOP tour is obviously the next thing coming. It's not so much about predicting a tour for a nonexistent album, but more predicting a tour for a very successful lady.

It's not so much about predicting a tour for a nonexistent album, but more predicting a tour for a very successful lady. A lot of things with the tour is probably gonna be determined by how well the era goes and what the album is about. Since you have no idea about the era, how can you predict anything? If she underperforms, which is very possible, she's hardly gonna be able to have another successful worldwide tour is she?

Since you have no idea about the era, how can you predict anything? If she underperforms, which is very possible, she's hardly gonna be able to have another successful worldwide tour is she? No. She's already beginning in a league of "touring" artists, like Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, U2 and The Rolling Stones. No matter the quality and success of the album they produce, they'll still attract a decent audience. The success of the album and singles really only hurts her a little, in bringing down audience slightly and possibly having less publicity. The lyrical and thematic content of ARTPOP will not effect the dates, venues, continents or gross.
