non-binary people don't identify as the gender they were assigned at birth, so by definition, they fall under the transgender umbrella.

that's completely not the case though and your example is just stupid. zara talked about dismembering sam. you can try to be flippant and all "cool girl" about this, but any way you cut it, it's detailing violence against trans people in a time when they're extremely vulnerable. if it's just a silly dream, like you say, she really didn't need to share it, especially at a time like this.

it's pretty bizarre to me that some people in this community find this so funny. sam already has a huge target on their back for the way they present themself. they even get yelled at and threatened in the streets, so to see a celebrity publicly say that they had a dream of killing sam, enables the haters that are actual threats.

of course you don't take it seriously because it comes from this girl or whatever but it still can be spread amongst the wrong people and taken out of context. this mirrors the reality of many transgender people, which i think is what ham is saying.

it's like many here purposely choose where to see the danger. a while ago i said some celeb looked happy and immediately a user who apparently also found ham's posts funny, assumed I was "assuming" that celeb's mental health and called out my thoughts as dangerous.
