Me: - Born This Way is the best music video from Gaga - I love more the standard cover of the album, then deluxe version - Bad Kids is really underrated - Americano, The Queen, You & I are the worst songs from the album - Heavy Metal Lover is the best song of this album - BTWB is my favorite tour from Gaga Marilyn Monroe is my best friend. 1 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

crazygato 168 Posted June 4 Share Posted June 4 *Half of it is cheesy pop music ( Hair, Americano, BK, HU, Judas, FOHL, TQ, and title track, still love it tho!) * Judas was the most cynical attempt at a smash hit from team Gaga at the time it makes me somewhat dislike the era because it derailed it * the album shouldve been released a month earlier and the song with most attention (which would have gone to YaI ) be realeased as 2nd single. That 3 month wait was too much! * she was OVERWORKED and I didnt like that, It was exciting for us fans but it literally broke her! * You And I released so late and was such a momentum staller it literally killed the era If it was released as the 2nd single coinciding with album release it itwould be #1 for 50 weeks on BBH100!!! Then we would have MTN, TEOG and Judas (etc) as the next singles to choose from. * this is less GP friendly than ARTPOP, more for the fans than for GP * 5 singles was too much and where I live it seems only BTW and TEOG were rememberd,which speaks volumes on how badly the era was mismanaged * even with all these mistakes this is her best album and I love it so much! 3 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ezikell 64 Posted June 4 Share Posted June 4 - Sorry but as much as I love a lot of the songs in the album, but I don't think it's Gaga's magnum opus. - Also, I wish the single release order would've been this: Born This Way The Edge of Glory You and I Judas Marry The Night The Edge of Glory could've been Gaga's 2nd number 1 hit from Born This Way if she didn't surround herself with controversy early on the album's life Like I get it, Judas being released on Easter Sunday was and is still iconic but Gaga promoted the album in such a positive tone that I think the controversy put off a lot of people and took off the airplay/hype that other singles could've had. The melodies are nice but it is so overproduced, especially in the climax of the song which is unlistenable despite the amazing harmonies Bad Kids is one of the best on the album Bloody Mary was one of my faves but I wish a better song got the recent success it did (especially as it wasnt even featured in the show) Country road BTW is terrible buy bionic 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
