RenegAde 17,264
Rate this album out of 10 I want to Create your standard 10 track gaga album using a mix of songs from her already existing discography that would sell a million copies in the first week. also, I will make a perfect album chronological arrangement and state the significance and it'll be cool to add a cute title. What would yours be ? Mine would be called ; Eternal love The edge of glory Dance in the dark Bad Romance Alejandro You and I I'll never love again Perfect illusion Applause Love me right Babylon The edge of glory is such an amazing album opener, right from the eerie instrumentals at the beginning. It really sets the energetic tone needed for a Gaga pop album. I decided to follow up with DITD and BR because one of the reasons The Fame is such an enjoyable album to listen to from start to finish is the arrangement, stacking up high energy bops like just dance, pokerface and then love game back to back really leaves you out of breath from dancing throughout the first half of the album. I chose alejandro as the song connecting the 1st half to the 2nd half because its beautiful melody and tempo works perfectly for linking two parts of an album together especially since we're going into a slower part of the album. Alejandro has that intoxicating feeling were you get lost in the melody and the hook that you barely realise we've slowed down the tempo of the entire album. For the slower part of the album, i chose gagas best song lyrically and her best song vocally. Yes gaga wrote you and I and its probably one of the best songs written from that decade (argue with your keyboards). And gaga has never sounded better than how she sounded on INLA so these are the two ballads that deserve Period (always remember us this way girlies can seeth) After bringing listeners to tears with these heartfelt ballads, we need to pick them back up with a bang and what better way than the high energy perfect illusion then we keep that energy and funk up with Applause, reminding people that gaga is still the queen of campy pop songs. Love me right serves as perfect break from the jarring effects of listening to perfect illusion and applause back to back. It has a very clean finish with a whimsical touch that contrast well with edgy tone of applause. finally, closing the album with babylon cuz theres simply to other way I'd close a gaga album.
