Political views of the GP. The GP doesn’t know about all the ESC drama and they had anti booing on live tv. So no sympathy votes, political votes. It has nothing to with people protesting the entry

People use social media. And we've all seen the stuff from the rehearsal. There were many headlines about it.

The large protest in front of her hotel already drew media attention.

So I don't think people are randomly voting for her because of political views. There's def a sympathy vote element.

Also her performance is objectively good, at least vocals-wise. I don't know how much of the vote is just objective appreciation of the performance.

So many thoughts rn:oprah: will they censor their delegation too? Still wondering if they'll come for Greece too after Joost

Are you sure she’s the one who’s ‘evil’ and not the thousands of people outside her hotel basically calling for her to be lynched?

See how you guys like to play the victims? There was no protest in front of her hotel, it was in Malmo, period.

Regardless of where they protested, the point is thousands of people showed up to intimidate and bully a 20-year-old girl simply because of her ethnicity and nationality. Is it really that hard to believe she’s gonna get some sympathy votes?

Their team is making fun of people asking for an end to a literal genocide. Do you really not see that?

The protest was NOT in front of her hotel. This has been confirmed fake news

She is 20 not 12, stop treating her like a baby. She will join the IDF after Eurovision. So stop acting like she can‘t deal with things

And again, no its not sympathy votes. Its political votes, they wanna support the israelis. They don‘t care about some videos on twitter about her getting booed at. She won‘t get a 39% televote out of that. Italy is very right wing and thats why Israel got these votes period

People showed up to protest a genocide. If she's hurt about it maybe she shouldnt support it? There's no one coming for her ethnicity or nationality. If they hated Israelis why aren't they coming for Tali, who's also born in Israel? Stop trying to play the victim.

Leave it to some people to use the anti semite card when the issues is far from that.

Like, they keep throwing excuses to deny the fact that the country is commiting a genocide and people is mad that EBU is allowing them to be a part of the contest because the logical thing would be getting them out. Is nothing against nationality or ethnicity, its about ACTIONS. Of course we will condemne genocide and people who supports it.

Did she sing about supporting a "genocide" or make statements to that effect? Because I've watched  some of her interviews and didn't hear anything of the sort.

I think it's definitely a nationality issue when people start blaming civilians of a country for the actions of their government. I don't see anyone harassing Russians athletes or singers abroad under the pretext of being pro-Ukraine, nor should it be condoned. The simple reality people don't like to accept is that people are doing way too much in this regard, and it's creating a backlash.
