“Just another name, another celebrity” 

I find it ironic that this was just a whole “she was cool for 4 years and then burned out” video, not to mention his whole topic on ARTPOP and how it sucked… just to bash her for skipping it at the Super Bowl? This is that hypocrisy I’ve seen a lot of Stan’s have. You can’t bash what she did during ARTPOP and then criticize her post-ARTPOP for being too basic or “just another name.” She learned from YOU that not everyone can handle her “pretentiousness,” and instead of becoming just another has been she learned to separate her various forms of art and create different outlets for her craft. She knows now when to pull something like the Chromatica Ball and when to strip it down to sing with Tony Bennett. What to wear when she’s meeting the president, when she’s at shows, how to be seen when she wants to. Now she can focus her “pretentious” energy into projects that will actually be appreciated, like in film.

This video makes it seem like she died after 2013, if anything, she was reborn. From a controversial global pop star to a respected, successful, multi-talented entertainment force.

fr, this video pissed me off, she's still one of the most influential artists of our generation, show some respect.
