Ronan’s mother made a comment towards a Gaylor to not assume Taylor’s sexuality… and the response was that she (the mother) is homophobic for saying such a thing. the gaylors started attacking her and saying her son, Ronan, who died back in 2011(?) from a blood cancer at age 4,  died because the mother was homophobic… and it just escalated from there.

tldr:

Taylor wrote a song called Ronan for the mother of a young boy who passed from cancer. This was in 2012. The mother alluded to Gaylors to leave Taylor alone. Gaylors said “f*** you” 

Gaylors are unhinged and need to get a life. These fans don’t realize that Taylor may take their money, but she definitely does not like them.

It’s also dangerous in many states here in the US where conservatives are already attacking the LGBTQ+ community and their rights. Rhetoric like this gives conservatives the ammunition to say the the LGBTQ+ community is trying to indoctrinate people into being apart of the community. There’s no benefit of speculating on anyone’s sexuality anyway

The mother had a blog that Taylor read. Some of the lyrics are quotes from the blog which is why the mother, Maya, is credited on the song. All proceeds from the song have gone to cancer charities. No matter if Taylor knew her before or after, she knows Maya more than any swiftie
