As much as we all hate Ed around here, thank GOD he won tbh. Would you want chords and note combos to be owned by the estates of old, dead musicians? Would you want Gaga (and everyone else tbh) to have to get special lawyer permission and pay a bunch of money to the descendants of some dead guy in order to put out any song?  The lawsuit set a terrible precedent

Thank God. I’ll buy a copy of his album just as a thank you for not settling the case out of court and pushing through and making the Gaye estate lose. Vultures bent on destroying the music industry just for a quick payout in court.
