I think a lot of you are misinterpreting what this means. 

It isn't that she isn't paying her taxes or is not paying her fair share. This is a dispute purely over claimed deductions, something that most Americans include on their tax forms (example: I am a DoorDash driver, so when I file my taxes, I claim deductions on the mileage I drive since the money I spend on gas and car maintenance has to do with work and not personal use). The IRS has chosen to dispute these deductions, and her accountants believe that they are incorrect on what they're disputing. This is not an uncommon occurrence and you'll see this exact sort of back and forth happening in accounting firms and tax offices all over the country every single year.
